Google Changes – Search Engine Optimization

Google “Caffeine” is the code name for the latest Google search engine which is rumored to be a major update for their website. Additionally, Google announced that it has begun indexing Twitter content, if that is the right description for the 140 character communications sent on that social marketing site. While pseudo-celebrities can get into the White House without an invitation or security clearance, the Google algorithms are truly a well guarded secret that thousands of search engine optimization companies speculate on and would love to have. A Car Without An Engine? Website SEO Part 1

As a full service web development company, we have the opportunity to see a wide range of customers with unique website issues. One of the most common reasons that customers come to us is because they are disappointed in their previous website designer, web host, or custom programmer created a beautiful website for $5,000, far more than we charge, but no customers show up. The website design of their site chocked full of all of the latest bells and whistles. However, the problem isn’t what is included, it is what isn’t included! If you’ve paid a website designer to create a site but you’ve never heard about search engine optimization, SEO for short, then you just bought a “car” without an engine. An engineless car can’t drive 90 miles an hour and a website without proper SEO won’t generate traffic to the site in most cases.
